Lists in Power Query are something many people know nothing about. Power Query uses them all the time even though you may not realize it, so if you add some List knowledge to your quiver, you’ll be able to kick your Power Query skills up a notch.

Based on what I’ve learned from Zoe, and what I’ve read to fill in the gaps, I think the two big differentiators are “how much statistical rigor do you require” and “how many different variations of the question do you need to ask?”
What We Can Do With “Just” DAX and Modeling. It’s my experience-powered belief that you cannot get a Win of that size without leveraging DAX and Modeling.
You should advance to Intermediate in DAX before advancing to Intermediate in Power Query / M, and then to Mastery of DAX before Mastery of M.
