About

We live to light people up.

From behind and uncertain to ahead and confident. In weeks, not years. We all work here because most firms don’t want to do that for you.

Leadership

Here for the same reason as everyone else.

Since 2013 we’ve helped 600+ organizations change their minds about consultants.

Consultants

The people you’d actually work with.

Some of our 50. The person in your kickoff is the person in your repo.

How this started

Today’s tech can lift you up in weeks. We built the whole firm on that.

A Kaman Industrial Technologies presenter at the lectern in a full conference room, co-presenting their success story with P3

An early client, Kaman Industrial, asked us to co-present their success story.

Our founder, Rob Collie, spent 13 years at Microsoft, the last of them helping create Power BI from the ground up. He watched it change people’s careers – and lives – in weeks. He also knew the consulting industry wasn’t built to deliver that. So he left to start a firm that was.

It worked. Every difference below follows from that, and each one matters even more in the AI era than it did in the BI era.

Difference 1

Faucets first. Not endless plumbing.

You should be putting real questions to your own data within weeks, on what you already own, long before a platform program would finish picking tools.

Everyone else – plumbing first

Two years of pipes, then a roadmap deck.

Platform selection. Readiness assessment. A governance council with a charter. The faucet shows up last, in the wrong room, plumbed to water nobody asked for.

And by the time anybody can put a real question to it, the question has changed.

P3 Adaptive – faucets first

Something working this month, on what you already own.

Real people use it on real questions. What they reach for tells us exactly which pipes to build – and which ones you were about to pay for and never needed. Infrastructure gets built with precision, only when it earns it.

Difference 2

We build in plain sight. Better at every touch point.

Most projects run in the dark: requirements up front, a long wait, then a reveal, and that is the first time you find out whether they understood you. We work in tightly packed touch points instead. You react to a working thing, not a document. A miss gets fixed in minutes and a good idea gets in by the next touch point, so the result keeps getting better instead of waiting to be judged. No breath holding.

A half-width strip of small three-dot stamps runs beneath an arrow labelled "In frequent touch points, you see things take shape in real time." One stamp is ringed. Beneath it, one stamp drawn large: three dots rising to the right carrying the verbs See it, Shape it, Improve it, each with a short description. See it: a working version you can critique. Shape it: something off? Fixed immediately. Improve it: new ideas? Often folded in by the next touch point. In frequent touch points, you see things take shape in real time.Improve itNew ideas? Difference 3

The people who scope the work are the ones who do it.

No middlemen.

The ones who are always around but never involved in the work. They chew your time and your wallet. We do not have those. The person in your kickoff is the person building the thing, and you talk to them directly. It is also why the touch points in plain sight cost minutes: a fix is cheap when the builder heard the question first-hand.

No B team.

We do not introduce our best consultants and then switch to junior ones, because we do not have any. There is no bench of juniors behind the people you meet. The most senior person on your project is the one doing the work.

Difference 4

We have to earn the next month, every month.

Nothing long-term to sign, and no platform you have to finish paying for before it does anything. Faucets first means nothing big gets built until something small has proven it is needed, so there is never a sunk cost holding you in place. Stop whenever you like and keep everything we built.

It keeps us honest and it keeps you free. The only thing keeping you here should be that it is working.

Difference 5

Our happiness guarantee.

Two weeks to business impact that lights people up. Or walk away without cost.

The people you’d actually work with

Embedded partners

Senior practitioners who own the work and the results. The same people who help you decide what to do are the ones who build it. 100% onshore, and no account manager translating you to a team you never meet.

Two-week accelerator

We spend two weeks turning your data into something you actually use, and you own all of it. This is the engagement our happiness guarantee is written for.

Focused project

One clear outcome, owned end to end by the people who planned it. The budget and the timeline are fixed and committed up front, not an estimate that drifts.

Bring us your hardest question.

Your white whale: you know there has to be a better way, and if you could crack it, your world would change. We thrive on those.
