Software Database Engineer 2
(mmm..okay don’t go by the title, the job is 80% Power BI, 20% SQL/SSAS)

• Client: Large Software Firm in Puget Sound, WA area
• Location: Puget Sound, WA (local candidates only)
• Estimated start date: ASAP
• Estimated end date: 18 Month Contract
• Schedule: M-F, 9am-5pm (Flexible)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
Generates Power BI reports and manages central reporting PowerPivot/Tabular database CUBE using SSAS for the Finance Reporting team.

Skills:
• 5+ years work related experience required. Strong SQL knowledge is a must.
• Must have front end and back end reporting experience using Power BI tools including Tabular CUBEs, PowerPivot, Power Query, and Power View.
• Extensive experience developing queries, reports, and forms in database programs.
• Must have the ability to interpret logical and physical database diagrams.
• Strong communication skills required.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a team. Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field preferred.
• Nice to have, SharePoint and server management experience.
