Power outages, leaking roof, school cancelations… Hurricane Sandy’s power extended all the way to Ohio with some pretty decent force. People within a mile of the ocean got quite a show I am sure.
Anyway, I’m going to resume the normal posting schedule on Thursday. In the meantime, I give you this chart – it’s the wave heights in the entrance to New York harbor.

Waves are normally about 2 feet high. They made it to 32.5 feet high last night. Yikes.
